The interior of the apartment

We built the interior on laconic surfaces, with restrained use of decorations and ascetic materials in the living areas and facade. Thanks to the panoramic glazing, the interior and exterior walls connect into one huge volume. We didn’t want to disrupt this line, so we did away with additional niches for bookshelves and a fireplace. Instead, we used the Focus steel pendant fireplace. The specific shape of the fireplace solves several problems: it realises the customer’s desire to have a fireplace and, at the same time, does not separate the interior from the exterior. Large-porous travertine has become a core material. Thanks to its natural texture, it has a place in the decoration of the entire house. The monochrome scheme is combined with interesting colour tones in the furniture and decor.
