Private house in natural park

The location in a picturesque natural park was a major deciding factor in the design of the house. It was the surrounding landscape and the proximity of the river that influenced such a light and romantic image of the gable-roofed house, which was a perfect complement to the surrounding area. The enfilade structure and the presence of green cosy courtyards and the use of wood for cladding contributed to perfect harmony. A great deal of panoramic glazing and transitional galleries dissolve the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, emphasising the fusion of interior space with the picturesque surroundings and opening the occupants to an enchanting view. The unusual synthesis of the traditional cosy image of the river-side façade and the more brutal and modern façade at the main entrance has resulted in an interesting compositional solution.
