Modern country house

Sandstone is a material that we hold in high esteem. When choosing between brick and stone, we often favour sandstone. The reasons for this choice have to do with its appearance, properties, affordability and versatility. One of the most decisive factors in determining the future type of building is how we see the stone in mass. In this project, we plan to use unfired sandstone, sawn to a crossbar format. We have not considered using a more active form of stone, as this would destroy both the scale of the house and its proper geometry. We also sought to retain its natural beige tone without using any additional treatment of the stone, thereby trying to bring out its original form.
