The interior of this house is a fusion of modern style with ethnic details. There are traditional Chinese features, represented by the decorations on the carpet and the wooden table for tea ceremonies. In the main area, the kitchen-dining room, we have kept all the supporting structures in view, so that they participate in the creation of the interior. We combined the living room and staircase into one area, functionally uniting them by giving the area under the stairs a ‘cosy’ extension in the form of a bookcase. In the main bathroom, we used remarkably interesting wall tiles with ethnic patterns by industrial designer Patricia Urquiola. To complete the look of the space, we complemented it with a light pendant and wall lights from the Italian factory Vibia, which not only fit compactly but also gave the house an air of freedom and weightlessness.
