The hotel in the ski-resort

The hotel complex is located in the new tourist village of the all-season ski resort. The complex consists of economy and premium class buildings and a restaurant on the hillside next to the ski slope. We decided to divide the complex into blocks and position them at a slight angle to each other to relate the project to the challenging mountain terrain. The natural materials supported the idea of the bond between architecture and nature. However, the hewn stone with its rough texture is associated with the mountainous terrain. Huge panoramic windows allow you to admire the view. And the warm-coloured wood, which we used both in the interior and on the facade, adds to the cosiness. You can see the connection between the property and the history of the place: the complex, made of traditional materials, conjures up images of a castle, ancient megalithic structures and the architectural traditions of the region.
